In My Daughters Eyes

I can’t sing!

But I did it anyway! My way…

I had a dream that I was singing a Father to Daughter message at her wedding; it brought tears to my eyes… When I woke up I thought to myself why not! I wanted my father of the bride speech to be as memorable as possible.

I asked a local singing teacher ten weeks ago “Is my dream possible?” 

“I admire your courage and motivation but I can’t promise anything.”

Put it this way I made most people cry at the wedding…

If you have a dream to do something special do it! It’s not always the result which counts; it’s the journey and the effort that makes it so special!

After four hours of blood sweat and tears the penny finally dropped! Now I can hear it and use it to my advantage… It’s so much easier! Maybe the BIG day is not just a pie in the Skye… I feel good!

I Can’t Read Love!

My… placed a page in front of me and asked “Can you read this?” With my heart in my throat I said “No way! Is that a prerequisite? All I want is to make my challenge a reality for the BIG day, can you help me?” “I don’t know and I can’t make any promises but like I said you are a natural.”
